MEETINGS

 

A group of 100 women and men gather locally four times per year to assist in donating to local charities and organizations. Representatives of the charities are contacted directly and asked to conduct a presentation outlining their charity/organization at the quarterly meeting.

 

Each member of the chapter is willing to donate $100 quarterly to a charity chosen by the chapter as a whole. This, in turn, results in a large $10,000 (approx.) donation locally within the community. Charities eligible are nominated by the Members of the Chapters themselves upon each RSVP to a meeting.

 

 

CHARITIES ELIGIBLE

 

The local charities or organizations that are eligible must be a registered not-for-profit or charitable (not national or international) organization, and been in existance for longer than a year. In addition, they must be able to provide tax receipts for donations to Members of the Chapter directly, as each member is making the personal donation DIRECTLY to the beneficiary.

Organizations are eligible for the group donation a second time (if received it once) after a 3-year period. This does not apply to large organizations that have specific programs that win the donation.
